04.2013 – First results materialising…

The 3rd Transport Cluster meeting took place in Berlin on 21 March 2013, in the premises of the Representation of the European Commission. The cluster partnership was accompanied by Thomas Erlandson, Swedish Ministry of Enterprise, Energy and Communications, one of Transport Priority Area Coordinators in the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region, the BSR Programme JTS officers as well as representatives of invited projects (GreCOR, Green Corridor Brenner Initiative).

The think-tank session saw an overview of second survey results on green transport solutions, followed by discussion on transforming them into green corridor benchmarks. A draft report summarising the accumulated experience will be available in May.

The second part of the meeting was dedciated to an overview of the cluster implementation progress, liaisons with the invited projects and preparations to the joint cluster policy conference in Brussels on 4 June. In that context, a brochure will be produced with main messages from the cluster cooperation.

Next cluster meeting is scheduled on 4 June in Brussels (before the cluster conference) at the Region Skåne’s European office.
